Add ice to a shaker. Pour in the rye, limoncello, and lemon juice.
Shake vigorously for about a minute. Strain into two rocks glasses with ice.
My drink was more tart than I would have liked, so I might use less lemon juice going forward. Your discretion is advised.I didn't have any seltzer water, but that shouldn't stop you from adding a splash if you'd like.I also didn't have a garnish, but I'm not fancy (especially at home).
